SUPPORTERS TRUST STATEMENT

It is apparently clear that many supporters are unhappy with the current managerial set up at the club. The Supporters Trust have had numerous requests from its members expressing their concerns and asking for action to be taken. In the light of their concerns we are writing to you on their behalf
We appreciate that certain matters are not of the managers making but it is the managers job to instil confidence in players and supporters and this would appear to be lacking. Poor results and performances have resulted in lower attendances and the frustration of supporters is clear.
Supporters of this club have for years had to put up with the financial situation and uncertainty and they have supported the club through many bleak times, all they ask is that we provide them with some cheer on matchdays and a team they can be proud of and relate to.
The concerns of the supporters is now being directed at the board and whilewe all truly appreciate the efforts that you and Steve have made over the last few months we fear the supporters may ultimately reject your efforts if the present situation is not addressed.
At the recent forum you stated that you would never shy away from making important decisions in the interest of the club. We urge you to consider that statement.
